Jesus is God in the Flesh

The New Testament Bible declares Jesus as God in the Flesh

When did the disciples realize Jesus was God?

The accounts of the New Testament portray Jesus as God in the flesh. But what of Mary and Joseph? Did they think of their son as God in the flesh?

Did John the Baptist think of Jesus as God in the flesh? Did the Disciples and Apostles think that way?

Yet, the Gospels tell the story of Jesus the Son of God, the Savior. In them Jesus himself declares that God is his father and that he and his father are one. When he said to Philip that a person who had seen Jesus had seen the father, Jesus is referring to himself as God.

However, when did the disciples and Apostles conclude and become convicted that Jesus was not merely the Messiah? When did they understand that Jesus was God in the flesh?
