Genesis for me

I was a youngster when I read the Bible story in Genesis. I thought it was very interesting.

Since I had two older brothers, especially meaningful to me was the story of Cain and Abel.

I had a lot of confusing feelings about being the youngest. But when I read the Genesis story I understood that I could control my reactions. When God told Cain that sin was waiting at the door and it wanted to control Cain, (Genesis 4:7) but that Cain should rule over it. Well, I came to an understanding that I could control how I responded to other people.

The fact that I was the master over my reactions and my behavior has been a key concept in my life.
